SUCCESS STORIES EMPHASISE THE FEELGOOD FACTOR - THE BEST OF HEALTH NEWSLETTER

Background
The Best of Health is an international health supplements company providing weight loss and peak performance programmes. Through the Radiant Health diet programme they help thousands of people realise a healthier lifestyle and significant weight loss.

Although the company was growing rapidly (and still is), they had no regular contact with their customers. And although they enjoyed high levels of customer satisfaction, they needed to maximise repeat custom and regularly offer a broader range of products.

Brief

  • create a feel-good factor about the programme and the company as a whole
  • maximise the successful publicity already generated by sports and celebrity endorsements
  • publicise seminars, cookbooks and other supplement product offers

Approach
There were a number of different issues to cover in this newsletter.
The publication needed a feel-good factor so we used a light upbeat writing style that created a sense of community for the users of the products.
We then crammed the pages with success stories from people who are on the programme - both celebrities and 'everyday' people.
We also gave readers the chance to order more products by stressing the benefits of the supplements.
There is also a regular recipe slot taken from a separately produced cookbook.
